About

My name is Kent Peterson. I have been a Personal Fitness Trainer and Nutrition Coach for over 30 years. In the late 1990s early 2000s, I was a competitive body builder in the state of Utah competing in several body-building shows. I was a member of the National Physique Committee for several years. I am an avid sports enthusiast, having been involved in team sports from a very young age such as soccer, bowling, baseball, basketball, as well as football in high school. I also enjoyed individual sports such as golf. I received a Bachelor’s of Exercise Sports Sciences and Performance Nutrition from the University of Utah in 2003.

I am a father of three great adult kids whom I raised on my own, having gone through a divorce. In June of 2020 I had what was called an aortic dissection, a condition where the innermost layer of the aorta of the heart tears and needs repair. It has a 99.9% fatality rate, putting me in the .1% of those who survive. It was said, while in in the hospital recovering, that my years of weight and cardio training and determination to survive is what saved me.

Through my knowledge and passion for fitness and nutrition, I would love to assist you in setting and achieving your personal fitness and nutritional goals
